Conus sp.

 

 

Description sp.1 (Conus cf. lyratus):

 

Shell of small size, biconical. Spire short. Four whorls, each slightly convex in outline. Each whorl rising by a decided step from the anterior suture. Aperture narrow but expanding slightly anteriorly.

On the spire-whorls there are four or five small spiral threadlets. On the entire last whorl there are spiral incised lines and very curved growth lines. 

 

 

 

Description sp.2 (Conus cf. convexus):

 

Shell of small size, biconical. Spire short. Three whorls, each slightly concave in outline. Aperture narrow. On the spire-whorls there are four or five small spiral threadlets. On the entire last whorl there are spiral incised lines and curved growth lines.
